The case involving Tollywood actor Raj Tarun and his ex-girlfriend Lavanya continues to develop with new revelations each day. Lavanya has recently filed a complaint with the Narsingi police, accusing Raj Tarun of deceiving her with false marriage promises. She has approached the police again to submit additional evidence and medical reports. It has also been disclosed that the Narsingi police have registered cases not only against Raj Tarun but also against actress Malvi Malhotra and her brother Mayank Malhotra. This development has sparked widespread discussion in Tollywood and across the two Telugu states.
What’s in the latest complaint?
Based on Lavanya’s latest complaint, the police have listed Raj Tarun as Accused 1, Malvi Malhotra as Accused 2, and Mayank Malhotra as Accused 3. Previously, Lavanya had made several allegations against them in her complaints. She disclosed in the FIR that she has known Raj Tarun since 2008, and he proposed in 2010 and married her in 2014. Lavanya claimed that her family gave Rs. 70 lakhs to Raj Tarun’s family. She revealed in her complaint that she became pregnant in 2016, and Raj Tarun forced her to have an abortion in the second month, paying the hospital bills himself. After meeting actress Malvi, Raj distanced himself from her, Lavanya clarified to the police. When questioned, she stated that Malvi and her brother Mayank had threatened her. Based on Lavanya’s complaint, the Narsingi police have registered a case under Sections 420, 493, and 506 against Raj Tarun, Malvi, and Mayank.

Lavanya responded to the viral audio clips on social media, warning Raj Tarun. She claimed that the audio was intentionally recorded to provoke her. She accused Malvi Malhotra and Raj Tarun of even planning to travel abroad. Lavanya provided screenshots related to their threats and chat, as well as technical evidence to the Narsingi police, expressing her trust in the police system and her belief that justice would be served.
Malvi Accuses Lavanya of Harassment
In an interview with a news channel, actress Malvi Malhotra clarified that she has had no relationship with Raj Tarun and they haven’t spoken for six months. She denied threatening Lavanya, stating she doesn’t even know what Lavanya looks like. Malvi accused Lavanya of calling and harassing her and her family. Despite blocking her number, Lavanya directly contacted her parents, causing them distress. Malvi expressed that all allegations made by Lavanya against her brother were false.
Complaint Against Lavanya
Meanwhile, actress Malvi Malhotra has lodged a complaint against Lavanya at the Filmnagar Police Station. Residing in Victoria Aditya Empress Towers in Tolichowki, Azizbagh Colony, Himachal Pradesh, Malvi reported that Lavanya has been sending inappropriate messages to her brother via WhatsApp and Instagram for several days. She also accused Lavanya of making false allegations against her. As a result, the Filmnagar police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
