Director Rajamouli is currently in Africa. He and his son Karthikeya are exploring the national parks in Kenya, searching for forest regions and areas where animals are prevalent. Given the movie’s backdrop set in Amazonian forests, part of it will likely be shot in Kenya’s national parks.

For the global project ‘SSMB 29‘, Rajamouli is set to use AI technology, for which special training has been undertaken. Some characters and animals in the movie will be developed using AI technology. Rajamouli’s films are known for their extensive use of VFX, and with AI integration, these effects are expected to double in this film. Several international actors will appear in the movie, which will be dubbed in foreign languages as well as Indian languages. The movie is rumored to have a budget of about Rs. 1000 crores.

I always wondered why our films couldn’t reach that level. Every time they say we copied, we did it better than the original, and no one is harmed. If I copied from a Tamil or Malayalam film, it would affect those writers and directors, so I don’t see taking inspiration from Hollywood as wrong,” he defended.
