Mega Power Star Ram Charan has risen to global stardom following the success of ‘RRR‘, garnering a worldwide fan following. However, an ongoing issue from the beginning of his career has been haunting him, which he hasn’t been able to resolve despite multiple attempts. This has left even the mega fans dissatisfied. Now, Ram Charan is devising new plans to tackle this problem and is known to have made a crucial decision in this direction, which has immensely pleased the mega fans. What is this issue? And what decision has Cherry taken regarding it? Let’s find out in this story.
Two Films on the Sets!
It has been 17 years since Mega Power Star Ram Charan, son of Chiranjeevi, stepped into the industry, but he has only done 13 films so far. There has been criticism that Charan takes longer gaps between films compared to other stars, and his attempts to change this pattern have not worked out. Hence, he has decided to put a definitive check on this issue. He plans to make two films per year going forward. As part of this, even before the release of ‘Game Changer‘, Charan has announced the RC16 project with director Buchi Babu. The movie is currently busy in pre-production. Along with this film, he is also planning to do another movie directed by Sukumar. Ram Charan aims to launch both projects simultaneously and aims to release them before 2026, much to the delight of the mega fans.
Is He Following Prabhas?
Like Prabhas, who has recently been more dynamic with his projects than before, opting to launch multiple projects simultaneously rather than one at a time, Ram Charan seems to be following in his footsteps. Prabhas is currently working with director Maruthi on a film titled ‘Raja Saab’ and has also recently launched a new project with Hanu Raghavapudi. By November, he plans to bring ‘Spirit’ directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga to the sets. Through this approach, he intends to participate in the shootings of these three films simultaneously and release each within a year. Additionally, there’s a chance for ‘Salaar 2’ and ‘Kalki 2’ to hit the floors next year.
Ram Charan as the Chief Guest
Global star Ram Charan is set to attend the South Indian cinema festival ‘IIFA Utsavam 2024’. The event will take place at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on September 27. The organizers of the International Indian Film Academy Awards have revealed that Ram Charan will be participating in this awards ceremony. Alongside Charan, several other prominent figures from South Indian cinema are expected to attend.
Looks Unlikely This Year!
Ram Charan is currently acting in the film ‘Game Changer’, directed by Shankar, which was heavily promoted to release as a Christmas gift on December 20th. Producer Dil Raju has also confirmed plans for a December release. However, the latest buzz suggests that releasing ‘Game Changer’ in December might be difficult due to already scheduled releases of ‘Thandel’ and ‘Robin Hood’ for December 20. Releasing during this time could potentially affect collections, and makers are considering pushing the release to early next year. A confirmation from the makers is awaited on this matter.
