After learning that the government school in her province was being used for the filming of Rc15 during school hours, Aakula Srivani, a BJP leader elected from Saroornagar, went to investigate the facility. The leader also expresses worry regarding studies on children. Srivani arrived at the school along with several supporters of the political party when certain scenes were being filmed there. She reportedly voiced her anger at the state’s education minister, Sabitha Indra Reddy, for approving the shooting during school hours. She claims that the shooting will make it difficult for the students to study and will have an impact on their academic performance.
Aakula Srivani and her supporters have protested against the education minister Sabitha Indra Reddy with some slogans. Amidst the complicated circumstances, the film shoot was put temporarily on halt.
