The prominent Chinese mobile manufacturing company, Realme, has launched a brand-new smartphone in India, named Realme 12 Pro 5G. This smartphone comes as an upgrade to the previously released ‘Realme 11 Pro 5G’ in June, bringing significant enhancements. Realme has introduced both Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ 5G variants to the market, and now let’s take a look at their prices, sales, and other details.
Display:
The Realme 12 Pro+ variant operates on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 and features a 6.7-inch FHD + OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. This phone boasts a peak brightness of 800 nits and is powered by the Snapdragon 7ES Gen 2 processor. Realme 12 Pro, on the other hand, comes with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, but it still offers the same software and display features as the Pro+ variant.
RAM & Storage:
Realme 12 Pro+ is available in three different variants – 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB. It also supports expandable RAM of up to 12GB. As for Realme 12 Pro, it comes in two storage configurations – 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, with the option to expand the RAM up to 8GB.
Camera:
In the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G model, you’ll find a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilization at the back, alongside a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. This triple rear camera setup supports 120X digital zoom. For selfies, it offers a 32 MP front camera. Realme 12 Pro, on the other hand, features a 50 MP Sony IMX882 primary camera, a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. It also has a 16MP front-facing camera.
Battery:
Both Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ come with a 5000mAh battery and support 67W SuperVOOC charging, capable of charging the battery from 0 to 100% in just 48 minutes.
Connectivity Features:
These Realme 12 Pro models support both 5G networks and come with connectivity features like Wi-Fi 4 (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, and Glonass. Additionally, they include features such as a fingerprint sensor, light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope.
Color Options:
Realme 12 Pro is available in two color options – Submariner Blue and Navigator Beige. The 12 Pro+ variant offers three color choices, including the aforementioned options as well as a red variant.
Pricing:
Realme has set the prices for the Realme 12 Pro+ variants as follows: ₹29,999 for 8GB+128GB, ₹31,999 for 8GB+256GB, and ₹33,999 for the 12GB+256GB model. Realme 12 Pro is priced at ₹25,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and ₹26,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant. These smartphones are available for purchase starting from February 6th on Flipkart and the Realme website, with discounts of up to ₹2,000 for ICICI cardholders.
