‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ (SVP), Mahesh Babu’s most recent film, was released on May 12th and is now running in theaters. The impressive trailer and songs for this film created a great deal of anticipation before its debut. However, due to Parasuram’s weak screenplay and writing, the film fell short of the audience’s expectations. Despite mixed reviews, the movie made Rs. 100 crore gross in its first four days. This is Mahesh Babu’s fourth consecutive 100-crore film.
Since there are no big releases, SVP is still playing on a huge number of screens in Telugu states, although the box-office numbers are steadily declining. In just 12 days, SVP collected 87.57 crore share and a gross of 131.7 crore. In the Vizag, East, and West areas, the film has crossed the break even mark, while in the Nizam and Ceeded regions, it is still trailing. SVP is expected to turn a profit in all regions by this Friday, according to industry trade analysts. ‘F3’, Anil Ravpudi’s multistarrer, will be released on May 27. If the word of mouth for ‘F3’ is positive, Mahesh Babu’s film would struggle at the box office in the upcoming week.
