September 2022 Telugu Movie Releases

September is going to be a very big month for Telugu movie lovers. September sees the release of 17 movies overall. This September, epics like Brahmastra and PS-1 will debut in theatres alongside low- and medium-budget movies.

Let’s look at the movies that will put their luck to the test in September.

Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga – 2 September

Vaisshnav Tej and Ketika Sharma will kick start the September cinema Hungama with their family drama flick ‘Ranga Ranga Vaibhavang.’ It is directed by Gireesaaya.

First Day First Show – 2 September

Anudeep KV’s ‘First Day First Show’ is coming with the storyline of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Kushi movie. This film may be the surprise winner at the box office.

Aakasha Veedhilo – 2 September

Aakasa Veedhullo is directed by Gautham Krishna and features Gautham Krishna, Pujita Ponnada, Satyam Rajesh, and Srikanth Iyengar as lead characters.

Brahmastra – 9 September

Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming magnum opus ‘Brahmastra’ is the film that audiences are looking forward to. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are in the lead roles in this film, and Akkineni Nagarjuna is also playing a key role in this film. 

Oke Okka Jeevitham – 9 September

Sharwanand’s upcoming film ‘Oke Oka Jeevitham’ is written and directed by debutant Shree Karthick. The film is simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil languages with the latter titled Kanam.

Nenu Meeku Baaga Kalavasina Vadini – 9 September

Nenu Meeku Baga Kavalsinavadini starring Kiran Abbavaram is directed by Karthik Shankar and produced by Kodi Divya Deepthi under the banner of Kodi Divyaa Entertainments.  

Gurthunda Seethakalam – 9 September

Gurthunda Seethakalam is a romantic drama film directed by Nagashekar. It is a remake of the 2020 Kannada-language film Love Mocktail. The film stars Satyadev Kancharana and Tamannaah.

Kotha Kothaga – 9 September

‘Kotha Kothaga’ is an upcoming movie starring newcomers Ajay and Virthi Vagan as the lead pair. Directed by Hanumaan Vasamsetty, the film is produced by Muralidhar Reddy.

Laththi – 15 September

Laththi is a multilingual movie starring Vishal and Sunaina in prominent roles. It is an action drama directed by A. Vinoth Kumar.

Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali – 16 September

Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali is an upcoming Indian romantic drama film written and directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti. The film stars Sudheer Babu and Krithi Shetty in lead roles.

Saakini Daakini – 16 September

‘Saakini Daakini,’ is an official remake of the South Korean movie “Midnight Runners.” This dark comedy adaptation starrs Nivetha Thomas and Regina Cassandra in Telugu.

Crazy Fellow – 16 September

‘Crazy Fellow’ starring talented hero Aadi Saikumar is directed by debutant Phani Krishna Siriki. Digangana Suryavanshi and Mirnaa Menon play the female leads.

Krishna Vrindha Vihari – 23 September

Naga Shaurya and Shirley Setia’s upcoming romantic comedy ‘Krishna Vrinda Vihari’ will test its luck on 23 September. The film was directed by Anish Krishna.

Alluri – 23 September

Sree Vishnu set to rock the stage with his cop flick ‘Alluri.’ The movie is directed by Pradeep Varma and is bankrolled by Bekkem Venu Gopal.

Dongalunnaru Jagratha – 23 September

Dongalunnaru Jaagratha is a thriller movie directed by Satish Tripura. The movie casts Sri Simha Koduri and Preethi Asrani in the lead roles along with P Samuthirakani.

Ravanasura – 30 September

Ravi Teja hopes to bounce back with his upcoming film Ravanasura.’ The film is directed by Sudheer Varma.

Ponniyin Selvan – 30 September

Mani Ratnam’s dream project ‘Ponniyin Selvan: I’ (PS-1) is gearing up for release on September 30, 2022. Vikram, Jayam Ravi, and Karthi play lead roles in this magnum opus.
