Sreeleela: Comments on Allu Arjun Go Viral!

Nithiin and Sreeleela are starring in the latest film ‘Robinhood,’ directed by young filmmaker Venky Kudumula. Key roles are played by Rajendra Prasad and Vennela Kishore, and the film is being produced under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili, with music composed by GV Prakash. The movie is set to release this Christmas on December 25. Recently, the first single “Look Isthe Chale Chalu.. Luckyga Feelavuthanu” was released. At the press meet that followed, actress Sreeleela spoke and made interesting comments about Allu Arjun along with discussing the song ‘Kissik’ from ‘Pushpa 2‘. Currently, these comments are going viral online.

Allu Arjun.. King of Dance

Young heroine Sreeleela, known as the dancing queen, has made a name for herself more with her dance moves than her roles in Tollywood. The item song ‘Kissik’ from ‘Pushpa 2’ also favored her. During an event for the movie ‘Robinhood,’ a journalist asked Sreeleela, “In your opinion, who is the king of dance?” Initially, Sreeleela hesitated to answer. Then, Nithiin, sitting beside her, chimed in with “Good question.” Smiling, Sreeleela responded, “We are all one team here… Good question from the side.” While she started to move on from the answer, Nithiin prompted her to address the journalist’s original question again. Sreeleela then declared, “Among everyone I’ve seen, it’s Mr. Bunny. Mr. Bunny is the dancing king.” This response delighted Allu Arjun’s fans immensely.

“I’ve Rejected Many Item Songs”

Sreeleela also explained why she chose to perform the ‘Kissik’ item song in ‘Pushpa 2.’ She mentioned that the song itself answers that question. Sreeleela emphasized that it’s not an average item song and that she has turned down many such offers in other films. However, she took on ‘Kissik’ because there was a strong reason to do so. “You will get the answer on December 5,” she stated. When asked if her dancing overshadows her acting, she simply replied, “True.” She noted that she is currently preparing for exams, which is why she has taken a break from films this year. She is focusing on good scripts and expressed satisfaction with her role in the ‘Robinhood’ movie.

Clarity on Sreeleela’s Remuneration

At the ‘Robinhood’ press meet, a question arose about the remuneration for the ‘Pushpa 2’ item song, which has been hotly discussed on social media. There were allegations that Sreeleela demanded a fee comparable to that of a major film for this song. Addressing these rumors, both Sreeleela and the producers responded. “We haven’t even discussed remuneration matters yet. I just took the opportunity and haven’t thought about the money,” Sreeleela said. Producer Naveen Yerneni clarified, “Sreeleela didn’t even bring up the topic of remuneration. We haven’t paid her as much as you might think.”
