Akhil Akkineni is eyeing a pan-Indian hit with his much anticipated upcoming film, “Agent.” The Akkineni heroes and fans have high hopes for this film as it’s being scaled with a huge budget by the director, Surrendar Reddy.
However, there is something fishy going on with his project because, as per the early announcements, the movie must have been released on August 12, but due to delays in post-production, the film didn’t arrive on time. Fans had expected that the flick might get released for Dasara or Diwali, but that didn’t happen. There have been rumours about this project getting released during the Christmas season, but nothing has materialised yet.
As per our credible sources, it’s been said that the makers of “Agent” have pushed back the film to 2023 for undisclosed reasons. These reports have currently become viral among the Akkineni fans and other fans. Some of them are wondering how an action film like Agent can undergo post-production work for almost a year. Some others are ushering in that Surrender Reddy is reshooting some of the portions of the movie as he’s not happy with the output. Although nothing was made official, a year-long delay is definitely leading to a lot of unneeded speculation. Let’s wait for the official announcements from the “Agent” team.
“Agent” is directed by Surrendar Reddy and produced by Rambrahmam Sunkara under the AK Entertainments banner along with the Surender 2 Cinema banner. The legendary Malayalam actor Mammootty is playing a key role in this film. Hip-Hop Tamizha is composing the music.
