Tarak in the role of a farmer!
The upcoming ‘NTR 32’ project, directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, is creating buzz in Tollywood. The film, a period action drama, is rumored to feature Tarak as a farmer. The story reportedly unfolds against the backdrop of Bangladesh, depicting a young man who lives by farming and finds himself fighting for the locals due to unforeseen events. It’s said that Prashanth Neel will showcase Tarak in two variations in this film. Tarak’s characterization and performance are expected to be next-level compared to his previous films.
Rashmika as the heroine?
Director Prashanth Neel is currently busy with pre-production work for ‘NTR 31’. He is working on finalizing the main cast. Reports suggest that Prashanth Neel is considering Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead opposite Tarak. If this happens, it would be the first film to feature the Tarak-Rashmika combo. The director plans to release ‘NTR 31’ as a Sankranthi gift in 2026 and intends to start shooting soon. Ravi Basrur is set to provide the music, while Bhuvan Gowda will handle the cinematography duties.

It is known that Tarak is acting in a Bollywood film titled ‘War 2‘, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Hrithik Roshan. Tarak is playing a role with negative shades in this film. He has already participated in the shooting of this movie. Once he completes his part in ‘War 2’, Tarak plans to commence shooting for ‘NTR 31’. He hopes to adjust his dates to fully accommodate Prashanth Neel’s schedule. ‘War 2’ is set to hit the screens on August 15 next year.
Clarity on politics
Following the success of ‘Devara’, NTR once again commented on politics. He made it clear that acting is his first option, not politics. In an interview, Junior stated that he always wanted to be an actor from the beginning. He mentioned that he did his first movie at the age of 17 and has been focused on acting ever since. Disregarding votes, he noted that millions buy tickets for him, and he feels happy to meet so many people as an actor. NTR’s comments indicate that he has no immediate plans to enter politics.
