The current film buzz has shifted from Mumbai to Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bangalore. In every way, Hindi cinema is being dominated by the south. Once upon a time, southern stars felt marginalised by Bollywood, but the tables have turned. South cinema has shook the foundations of Bollywood by delivering back-to-back pan-India blockbusters. The four southern regional film industries are on a rampage with Bollywood. Films such as Baahubali 1 & 2, KGF 1 & 2, RRR, Pushpa, and Saaho became huge blockbusters in Hindi belts, demonstrating the power of south cinema.
Along with the films, Southern Stars became well-known among Hindi audiences. Prabhas and Yash have a huge fan base across India. ORMAX, a media publishing company, has published a list of the Top 10 Pan-India stars. Surprisingly, only one Bollywood star made the list, while the list is topped by five Telugu stars, three Tamil stars Kannada has one star.

All these stars enjoyed massive success with their recent movies. NTR and Ram Charan’s ‘RRR’ and Yash’s ‘KGF’ netted over 1000 crores at the box-office. While Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’ made over 100 crores alone in Hindi region. Akshay Kumar is the only Hindi star in this list; his upcoming film Prithviraj is set to be released on June 3.
