Salil Parekh (Infosys)
Salil Parekh, who is the CEO of Indian IT giant Infosys, is receiving an annual salary of Rs 71 crore for the financial year 2021-22. Infosys has increased his salary by 43 per cent this year, according to its annual report. This makes Salil Parekh the highest paid CEO in India. Infosys also extended his tenure as CEO for another five years until 2027.
Mukesh Ambani (Reliance Industries)
Reliance Industries chief Mukesh Ambani has over 44 per cent stake in the company. Despite being one of the richest men in the world he still takes care of all the affairs of the company. As a result, it is reported that he was paid Rs 15 crore in 2020 as his salary.
C. P. Gurnani (Tech Mahindra)
C. P. Gurnani is the CEO and the Managing Director of IT firm Tech Mahindra. Gurnani has received Rs 28.57 crore annual salary for the financial year 2020.
S N Subrahmanyan Larsen & Toubro)
S N Subrahmanyan, CEO and the Managing Director of Larsen & Toubro (L & T), a multinational conglomerate company, He has received a salary of Rs 27.17 crore in 2019-20. Subramanian donated 43.91 per cent of his salary for humanitarian purposes during COVID pandemic.
Rajesh Gopinathan (Tata Consultancy Services)
Rajesh Gopinathan, promoted as CEO of Tata Consultancy Services in 2017 from the CFO role. He received a salary of Rs 25.7 crore for the year 2021-22.
Pawan Munjal (Hero MotoCorp)
Pawan Munjal is the CEO and Managing Director of Hero MotoCorp. He received an annual salary of Rs 84.59 crore in Financial Year 2020.
Rajiv Bajaj (Bajaj Auto)
Rajiv Bajaj, who continues to be the CEO and Managing Director of Bajaj Auto from 2005. He earned a salary of Rs 39.86 crore in the 2020 financial year.
