Movies Releasing in Theaters

Krishnamma

The new film ‘Krishnamma’, starring Tollywood actor Satyadev and directed by VV Gopala Krishna, is set for its release. Featuring Adhira Raj as the heroine, the movie is produced by Krishna Kommalapati under the banner of Arunachala Creations. With its promotional content already creating a buzz, the film is expected to hit theaters on May 10.

Prathinidhi 2

‘Prathinidhi 2‘, directed by Murthy Devagupthapu, features Nara Rohit in the lead role, with Sreeleela playing the heroine. This sequel to the original ‘Prathinidhi‘ also stars Saptagiri, Dinesh Tej, and Jisshu Sengupta in significant roles. Originally scheduled for release on April 25, the film’s debut was delayed and is now set to premiere in theaters on May 10.

Jithender Reddy

Directed by Virinchi Varma, known for ‘Uyyala Jampala‘, the new film ‘Jithender Reddy‘ features Rakesh Varre in a political drama based on true events from the 1980s. With production wrapped up, the movie is scheduled to make its debut to audiences on May 10.

Aarambham

Directed by V. Ajay Nag, the emotional thriller Aarambham stars Mohan Bhagath, Suprita Satyanarayana, Bhushan Kalyan, and Ravindra Vijay. Scheduled for release on May 10, this film is produced by Abhishek VT under AVT Entertainment and aims to engage and captivate its audience.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

The fourth installment in the popular ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ franchise, ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’, directed by Wes Ball, is set to captivate a global audience. Scheduled for release on May 10, the film will be available in English and several Indian languages. It tells the story of a young woman’s struggle against Caesar Proximus, a monkey who has declared war on humans, with the help of another monkey.

Geethanjali Malli Vachindi

‘Geethanjali Malli Vachindi‘, featuring Anjali as the protagonist, serves as the sequel to the 2014 hit ‘Geethanjali’. Following a mixed reception at its theatrical debut on April 11, the film is slated to premiere on Aha starting May 8. It remains to be seen how it will be received by OTT audiences.

Aavesham

Starring Fahadh Faasil, known for his role as the antagonist in ‘Pushpa‘, the film ‘Aavesham‘ recently premiered in Malayalam and surprised everyone by grossing ₹130 crores. This thrilling movie will be available on Amazon Prime from May 9 and can be watched in Telugu, Malayalam, and several other regional languages.
