This week, to celebrate the Diwali Festival, several new films are set to be released in theaters, promising to double the joy of the festival. As the Festival of Lights approaches, they are ready to provide entertainment for the whole family. Moreover, intriguing films and web series are also coming to OTT platforms. Films Releasing in Theaters

KA

Kiran Abbavaram stars in a film jointly directed by Sujith and Sudeep, titled ‘KA‘. Nayana Sarika and Tanvi Ram have played the roles of heroines. This film is set for a grand release on October 31. Kiran Abbavaram is playing the role of a postman in this movie. The recently released trailer of ‘KA’ has significantly raised expectations for the film.

Lucky Bhaskar

The latest film directed by Venky Atluri, ‘Lucky Bhaskar‘, stars Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan as the hero, with Meenakshi Chaudhary as the heroine. This movie is set to be released grandly as a Diwali gift on October 31. The makers have crafted this film around an intriguing concept of an ordinary employee becoming a millionaire.

Singham Again

The Bollywood film ‘Singham Again’, loaded with high expectations, is another Diwali release. Ajay Devgn has reprised his role as DCP Bajirao Singham. The film, releasing on November 1, features stars like Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone, which has skyrocketed the expectations.

Amaran

The Tamil film ‘Amaran‘, starring star hero Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, is based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, an army officer who died in a terrorist attack. The film, produced by legendary actor Kamal Haasan and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, is set to release pan-India on October 31.

Bagheera

The Kannada film ‘Bagheera’, scripted by star director Prashanth Neel, stars Srimurali and Rukmini Vasanth as the lead pair, directed by Suri. This film is also releasing pan-India on October 31. The recently released trailer has mesmerized the audience.

OTT Releases

Thangalaan

The recent Tamil period action drama ‘Thangalaan‘, starring Chiyaan Vikram, was released in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada on August 15 and received average reviews. After a significant delay, this film will be available for streaming on Netflix starting from October 31.

Maa Nanna Superhero

The film ‘Maa Nanna Superhero‘, starring Sudheer Babu, will start streaming this week. From October 31, it will be available on the popular OTT platform Zee 5. Directed by Abhilash Kankara, the film features Sai Chand and Shayaji Shinde in crucial roles, with Arna playing the heroine. It was released in theaters on October 11 and received a lukewarm response.

Arthamainda Arun Kumar 2

Following the positive reception of Season 1, ‘Arthamainda..? Arun Kumar‘ featuring Harshith Reddy, Ananya Sharma, and Tejaswi Madivada in lead roles is bringing its Season 2 to audiences. It will be streamed on Aha starting October 31, with Pawan Sidhu leading the cast.
