Directed by Smaran Reddy, ‘Love Reddy’ is a clean love story revolving around the theme of honor and dignity. Although it follows a routine storyline, it is presented naturally with an Andhra-Karnataka backdrop. The film starts with a matrimonial viewing scene and becomes more interesting as the hero transforms into ‘Love Reddy.’ However, his efforts to express his love seem quite routine. The curiosity of whether Divya will reciprocate Love Reddy’s feelings carries the first half. In the second half, the rejection of his love and the reasons stated connect well with today’s youth. The last 20 minutes are handled very emotionally by the director, culminating in a climax that weighs on the viewer’s heart. Overall, Director Smaran Reddy has made a significant mark with this film.
The Storyline
