The well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has made its entry into India with a brand-new series. On Thursday, it launched the premium smartphone named ‘Vivo V30 Series’. This series comprises two premium smartphones: ‘Vivo V30’ and ‘Vivo V30 Pro’. Notably, these phones come with a 50 MP selfie camera, among many other features that are sure to attract tech enthusiasts. The company has revealed that these new Vivo phones are the best options for those looking to buy a new mobile. Mobile Screen
The Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro variants are launched with a 6.78-inch curved 1.5K AMOLED display. They are equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 2,800 peak brightness. The Vivo V30 model comes with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC processor, while the Pro variant is released with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. Both variants operate on an Android 14 based FunTouchOS 14 operating system.
RAM & Storage
The Vivo V30 variant is released with options of 8GB RAM/128GB, 12GB RAM/256GB, and 12GB+512GB storage. On the other hand, the V30 Pro variant is available with 8GB RAM/256GB ROM and 12GB RAM/512GB storage options. Vivo has provided the option to expand the storage capacity up to 1TB via a microSD card.
Camera
One of the main attractive features in the Vivo V30 series is the camera. The Vivo V30 variant includes a dual rear camera setup with a 50 MP selfie camera. It has a 50 MP primary camera that works with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and aura flash light on the back of the phone. The V30 Pro variant comes with a triple rear camera setup (50MP+50MP+50MP), including two 50 MP cameras similar to the Vivo V30, and an additional 50 MP portrait camera. This model also features a 50 MP selfie camera on the front.
Battery Capacity
Both the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro variants are launched with a 5,000mAh battery in India. They support up to 80W fast charging, which allows the mobile to be charged quickly and ensures a long battery life, as stated by the company. The mobile can be charged via a USB Type-C port.
Connectivity Features
Both models in the Vivo V30 series come with connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. Notably, the base variant comes with Bluetooth 5.4 version, while the Pro variant is launched with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Both phones feature an In-Display Fingerprint Scanner.
Price Details
The company has determined the price of the Vivo V30 series based on the variant and storage capacity. The Vivo V30 Pro 8GB+256GB model is announced at a price of ₹41,999. The 12GB+512GB model is priced at ₹46,999. Meanwhile, the Vivo V30 8GB+128GB model is priced at ₹33,999, the 8GB+256GB model at ₹35,999, and the 12GB+512GB model at ₹37,999. Starting March 14, these phones can be purchased through the prominent e-commerce platform Flipkart and will also be available on Vivo India’s e-store.
Bank Offers
There are bank offers available for online purchases of Vivo V30 and V30 Pro mobiles. Purchases made with SBI or HDFC cards can avail of up to 10% discount. Additionally, no-cost EMI options for up to 6 months and an exchange discount of ₹4,000 are available. If customers prefer to buy from mainstream stores, a 10% discount is also available there. It’s stated that EMIs can be paid without any additional charges for up to 8 months.
