The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo is set to release the Vivo V40e in India, as part of its latest V-series. This handset is anticipated to join the already released Vivo V40 Pro and Vivo V40 models. While the company has not yet officially announced any details about this smartphone, its specifications have leaked on benchmarking websites. The key features are going viral online. The Vivo V40e is scheduled to be released on September 25. There is still no information available regarding the price of this handset. Details are expected to be clarified at the time of launch. The Vivo V40e will be available in “Royal Bronze” color.

The Vivo V40e is reported to feature a curved display with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Furthermore, according to recent leaks, the Vivo V40e will operate on FunTouch OS 14 (based on Android 14) and is expected to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset.
According to reports, the Vivo V40e will include a 5,500mAh battery and will compete with other mid-range smartphones released this year. It is speculated to support 80W fast charging.
Last month, this handset was listed on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website under the model number V203. It also appeared on Geekbench, revealing it might come with a Dimensity 7300 SoC processor and 8GB RAM.
Regarding the camera, the Vivo V40e is equipped with a 50MP AF selfie camera on the front. Additionally, this smartphone will feature various AI portrait suites and 4K video recording capabilities. The Vivo V40e is also rated IP65, making it resistant to water and dust. It reportedly has 90 hours of playback time and 20 hours of video playback time.
