  • War 2: Is NTR’s Bollywood debut causing concern for his fans?

    Jr. NTR is a top hero in Tollywood and gained Pan India recognition with his performance as Komaram Bheem in RRR. Hollywood directors have shown interest in working with Tarak, who has become a global star. Now, NTR is set to make his Bollywood debut in War-2 alongside Hrithik Roshan, directed by Ayan Mukherjee. However, the national media has been publishing articles that have caused concern among NTR’s fans.

    Is Tarak lowering himself by playing a Negative role?

    The media reports claim that NTR will be playing a negative role in War-2 and will receive a remuneration of Rs. 30 crores for it. This news has worried Tarak’s fans, who fear that Hrithik’s role will overshadow NTR’s character, just like what happened in RRR with Ram Charan. Fans also expressed their displeasure over the fact that NTR’s remuneration for War-2 is low compared to his previous films and rumored future demands. Additionally, they are unhappy with NTR playing a negative role. With NTR playing a negative character, they fear that Hrithik’s role will be highlighted in the film, and the hero will have the upper hand in the action scenes as well.

As per reports NTR took Rs.45 crores as remuneration for RRR and there were rumours that he may ask for Rs.100 crores for future films. However, news that he will receive only Rs.30 crores for his role in War-2 has left fans expressing their displeasure. They argue that compared to other top actors in Bollywood, NTR’s remuneration is low.

    Share in Profits Deal?

    Other news articles suggest that NTR may take a share in the profits of War 2 movie instead of direct remuneration. Aditya Chopra, chairman of Ash Raj’s production company, denied the news that Tarak was hired because other actors rejected the role. He confirmed that they chose NTR for the character, creating a positive outlook for the film. The shooting for War 2 movie is expected to begin in November.

    Meanwhile, NTR is currently busy with the shooting of NTR 30, a film directed by Koratala Siva, where he stars alongside Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor. The movie has top technicians working on it, including Anirudh for the music and Ratnavelu for the cinematography. It is produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Sudhakar Mikkilineni under the banners of NTR Arts and Yavasudha Arts, respectively.
