The Chinese smartphone giant, Realme, has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market, the Realme P2 Pro 5G, which is an updated version of last year’s P1 Pro 5G. The specifications have also been upgraded. The Realme P2 Pro 5G smartphone is equipped with a high-speed Snapdragon chip and includes a cooling system, offering an excellent gaming experience. Processor

The Realme P2 Pro 5G smartphone operates on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC processor, which comes with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. Additionally, it offers up to 12GB virtual RAM. Realme P2 Pro 5G boasts the largest (4,500mm²) VC cooling system in this segment.

Display

The Realme P2 Pro 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display, with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. This display offers up to 20,000 levels of automatic brightness adjustment, AI gaming eye protection, rainwater smart touch, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. The display also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

Camera

As for the camera, the main camera includes a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.2 aperture. At the front, the phone has a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture.

Battery

The phone is equipped with a 5,200 mAh battery supporting 80W wired fast charging. It offers IOT reserve charging and other smart charging features with AI assistance. It also has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

Operating System

In India, the starting price for the Realme P2 Pro 5G with an 8GB/128GB model is set at Rs. 21,999. There are also 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB variants available at Rs. 24,999 and Rs. 27,999 respectively.
