For the past few weeks, star hero films have been released and creating buzz in theaters. However, this week will see a continuation of the trend for smaller films, ready to deliver delightful entertainment this summer. On the other hand, new films and series are arriving on OTT platforms to provide double the entertainment. Let’s see what special features these releases have.

Movies Releasing in Theaters

Tenant

Comedian Satyam Rajesh stars in the latest film “Tenant,” directed by Y. Yugandhar. Set to release in theaters on April 19th, the film explores the unexpected twists in the life of the protagonist after marriage. 

Sasivadane

A romantic drama featuring Rakshith Atluri and Komali Prasad, “Sasivadane” is directed by Sai Mohan Ubbana. This film is set against the backdrop of the Godavari and is scheduled to be released on April 19th.

Paarijatha Parvam

Starring Sunil, Shraddha Das, Chaitanya Rao, and Malavika Satheesan, “Paarijatha Parvam” is a film directed by Santosh Kambhampati. The film, subtitled “Kidnap is an Art,” is set to hit theaters on April 19th. The trailer promises every scene to be filled with laughter.

Love Mouli

Directed by Avaneendra, “Love Mouli” stars Navdeep as the lead, with Pankhuri Gidwani as the heroine. The film, set to release on April 19, revolves around a person who has lived away from others without love and explores what happens when he finds love.

Market Mahalakshmi

In “Market Mahalakshmi,” Kerintha fame Parvateesam stars as the hero. The film, directed by V.S., introduces Praneetha as the heroine. It features Akhilesh Kallaru as the producer and includes Harshavardhan, Mahaboob Basha, and Mukku Avinash in key roles. It is scheduled for release on April 19.

Sarapanjaram

Naveen Kumar Gattu stars and directs “Sarapanjaram,” with Laya as the female lead. Set to release in theaters on April 19, the film addresses the struggles of nomadic communities like the Joginis and Gangiredlus.

Maaranaayudham

Starring senior actress Malashree in a police officer role, “Maaranaayudham,” directed by Gurumurthy Tsunami, has garnered positive talk since its release in Kannada last year. It is now set to impress Telugu audiences as well, with a theatrical release scheduled for April 19.

Luv You Shankar

Director Rajiv S. Riya, known for the animation film “My Friend Ganesha,” is back with “Luv You Shankar.” Starring Shreyas Talpade and Tanisha, this film is set to release on April 19.

OTT Releases This Week:

Siren

Starring Jayam Ravi, the latest movie “Siren” was released in Kollywood on February 16 and received average reviews. Starting from April 19, this movie will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. “Siren” will have its digital premiere in both Tamil and Telugu, featuring key roles played by Jayam Ravi, Keerthy Suresh, and Anupama Parameswaran.

My Dear Donga

A new comedy movie is making its way directly to OTT. “My Dear Donga,” featuring Abhinav Gomatam, Shalini, and Divya Sripada, will start streaming on Aha from April 19. The story unfolds around a young man who breaks into a girl’s house to commit a robbery but ends up trapped there under unexpected circumstances. What happens next? How does a friendship form between the thief and the young woman, and what twists does it lead to?

Kaatera

The Kannada blockbuster “Kaatera,” starring the star hero Darshan and directed by Tarun Sudhir, was released last year and has collected over ₹100 crores. The Kannada version of the movie has already been streaming on the popular OTT platform Zee 5. However, the platform has recently announced that the Telugu and Tamil versions are now also available.
