How Did They Perform?
Aside from their roles in “Ambajipeta Marriage Band“, the actors are not seen elsewhere. Each actor has fully immersed themselves into their characters. Suhas, in the role of Malli, is outstanding. He entertains with Abbas’ hairstyle in the first half and impresses with a bald look in the second half, showcasing natural acting skills, particularly in emotional scenes. Shivani Nagar, as Lakshmi, perfectly embodies her character. Sharanya Pradeep, portraying Suhas’ sister, could be considered another hero of the film, with her character’s design being a highlight. Nitin, Vinay Madhav, and Jagadish Bandari, who plays the hero’s friend, also captivate with their performances.

Numerous films have tackled love stories marred by financial and caste disparities, as well as revenge dramas. This movie falls into the same category. However, the director, Dushyant, has introduced a fresh element by weaving in concepts of sibling emotions and self-respect into the narrative. By naturally portraying the divides between castes and the financial inequalities, he manages to connect the audience to the story. The first half of the movie revolves around a beautiful love story and light-hearted scenes, leading up to a pivotal moment just before the interval that turns the narrative on its head. In the second half, the movie delves into a unique revenge drama, focusing on self-respect. Even though the story progresses as expected, the strong scenes and drama keep the audience engaged without feeling bored. Overall, Dushyant’s directorial effort is commendable.

All technical departments have showcased commendable work. Shekhar Chandra’s music and background score, along with Wajid Beg’s cinematography, particularly the way he has captured Chiratapalli, stand out as major strengths of the film.
