Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is currently enjoying the grand success of his latest film ‘Bimbisara’. Directed by debutant Vashist, the fantasy drama has Catherine Tresa and Samyuktha Menon as the heroines.
“Bimbisara” is doing incredibly well in theaters, huge kudos to the blockbuster hype. It led to a massive collection in domestic markets in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. For this film, Ceded (in Andhra Pradesh’s Rayalaseema area) has scored impressive numbers. On Sunday, “Bimbisara” bought 5.02 crore shares.

“Bimbisara” is very successful internationally. The movie brought in $300K in the US. It is expected to cross the $500K mark by next week.
Kalyan Ram’s flick turned out to be the first lucrative endeavour for all the distributors and exhibitors in the previous two months. At a time when Telugu film producers and distributors lost hope in theatrical revenue, this film boosted those hopes. “Bimbisara” successfully brought their audiences to the theaters.
