Vijay Deverakonda’s latest film ‘Liger’ was released amidst huge expectations but it ended up being one of the worst financial failures in Tollywood. The film’s poor performance has put the producers and director in a difficult situation.
In contrast to its Telugu counterpart, “Liger” caused some commotion at the box office. The movie made 21 crore in Hindi-language. The film’s closing share in Hindi is predicted to be 9.3 crore, while the break-even share is predicted to be 10 crore. Overall, “Liger” may result in a 70 lakh loss for the Hindi distributors, but it is obvious that Bollywood was really hyped about the movie. Many box office records would have been broken if the movie had been better.
