Nandamuri Balakrishna is celebrating his 62nd birthday today. Balakrishna was born on June 10, 1960 in Madras. His father’s films had a great influence on his childhood, which eventually paved the way for his entry into the films. In 1974 he appeared as a child actor in the film ‘Tatamma Kala.’ He has provided numerous superhits and blockbusters during his 48 years in the movie business. The recent blockbuster movie ‘Akhanda’ showcased the power of Balakrishna at the box office. Aside from the movies he is a successful politician, he is a two time MLA of Telugu desam party from Hindupur constituency. He founded the ‘Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital’ Which provides cancer treatment to many cancer patients.
