Allu Sirish’s comeback film “Urvasivo Rakshasivo” has been released to positive reviews on November 4th. This is Allu Sirish’s only release in the last 3 years. It is written and directed by Rakesh Sashi.
The theatrical rights to this film were estimated at 7 crore. Coming to its theatrical performance, although the flick released to positive reviews, the numbers are below the trade’s expectations. The film has managed to earn 2.2 crores in revenue in four days, and it needs to earn 5 more crores to reach breakeven.
The film needs to show some solid growth in the coming weekend to achieve the target, but as Samantha’s “Yashoda” is releasing on November 11, it will be a hard run for “Urvasivo Rakshasivo” to maintain its hold and momentum. Overall, Allu Sirish’s hunt for solid success still continues.
“Urvasivo Rakshasivo” is an official remake of the Tamil film “Pyaar Prema Kaadhal.” Along with Allu Sirish and Anu Emmanuel, it has Vennela Kishore, Sunil, Posni Krishna Murali, Aamani, Kedar Shankar, and Anish Kuruvilla, among others, in key roles. The film is produced by Allu Aravind under GA2 Pictures.
