Tollywood recently experienced one of its driest periods in its history, going two months without producing a single financially lucrative movie. However, “Bimbisara” and “Sita Ramam,” which were released just last week, have given the industry a new lease on life with their phenomenal popularity. The industry must maintain its current winning streak to get out of the crisis. The Telugu cinema industry is focused on the upcoming films “Macherla Niyojakavargam” by Nithin and “Karthikeya 2” by Nikhil Siddartha. Both movies are prepared to unleash their box office avalanche this weekend. On August 12, “Macherla Niyojakavargam” will begin the race, and on August 13, “Karthikeya 2” will follow.
Nithiin’s “Macherla Niyojakavargam” has created positive buzz for the film through a number of marketing tactics. The actor has a solid track record of achievement in the mass genres. The teaser and the tracks have already received positive feedback from the audience. Young actress Kriti Shetty plays the feamle lead in this film. In the movie directed by MS. Raja Shekar Reddy, Nithiin plays an IPS officer.
This weekend marks the release of “Karthikeya-2,” the much awaited movie by Nikhil Siddhartha. The movie will serve as the sequel to “Karthikeya.” The trailer, which has millions of views on YouTube and was presented by the film crew on Sunday, is currently trending. In this movie, Aunpama Parameshwaran plays the feamle lead. Chandoo Mondeti handled the directing.
Both the movies have opted to go with same ticket prices.
