This Week’s OTT &  Telugu Movie Releases  (Feb 15th & 16th)

As usual, this week too, several movies (Tollywood Upcoming Movies) and web series (Upcoming Web Series) are ready to entertain the audience. However, compared to last week, this time it’s the turn of smaller films to provide entertainment to the viewers. They are set to make noise in theaters between February 15 – 16. Similarly, new movies and web series are about to stream on OTT platforms. 

Movies Releasing in Theaters

Bramayugam

Malayalam superstar Mammootty is set to greet the audience this week with the movie ‘Bramayugam’. Directed by Rahul Sadasivan, this horror thriller has received positive responses for its recently released trailer and posters. The movie is releasing in both Malayalam and Telugu on February 15. Chakravarthi Ramachandra and Sashikanth are jointly producing this film under the banner of Night Shift Studios.

Rajdhani Files

Another movie on Andhra Pradesh politics is coming this week. ‘Rajdhani Files’, based on the issue of AP’s capital Amaravati, is releasing in theaters this week. Akhilan and Veena play the lead roles in this film directed by Bhanu. The movie is set to release on February 15. The film team has stated that this movie is based on real events.

Ooru Peru Bhairavakona

Starring Sundeep Kishan as the protagonist, the film ‘Ooru Peru Bhairavakona‘ is directed by V.I. Anand. This thriller and socio-fantasy movie stars Kavya Thapar and Varsha Bollamma as the heroines. Having completed its shooting, the movie is set to release on February 16. The promotional materials released with the tagline “The four missing pages from Garuda Puranam are Bhairavakona” have piqued interest in the film.

Siren

An action-packed emotional drama featuring Jayam Ravi and Keerthi Suresh in key roles, ‘Siren’ is directed by Anthony Bhagyaraj. The movie, with the subtitle ‘108’, is set to release in front of the audience on February 16. The film’s story revolves around a person who works as an ambulance driver and turns into a criminal. Keerthi Suresh appears as a police officer in this film, which also features Anupama Parameswaran in a crucial role. G.V. Prakash Kumar has provided the music for this movie.

Movies and Web Series Releasing on OTT

Naa Saami Ranga

Among the films released for this Sankranthi, ‘Naa Saami Ranga‘ is one. Having garnered positive talk in theaters, this movie is coming to OTT this week. It will start streaming on Disney+Hotstar from February 17. Directed by Vijay Binny, this film features Ashika Ranganath as the heroine, with Allari Naresh and Raj Tarun in the main roles.

The Kerala Story

Last year’s sensational movie ‘The Kerala Story‘ made waves nationwide. Made on a budget of just Rs. 20 crores, this film collected over Rs. 300 crores globally. Nine months later, it’s coming to OTT this week. It will begin streaming on Zee5 from February 16. Directed by Sudipto Sen, the film stars Adah Sharma in a lead role. The response this movie received in theaters has sparked interest in how it will be received on OTT.
