The Nikhil Siddharth-led film “Karthikeya-2” has become one of Tollywood’s highest-grossing productions of 2022. The Hindi and Telugu markets continue to see strong box office performance for the movie. The movie is still doing well at the box office on weekdays.
As Vijay Deverakonda’s “Liger” premieres in theaters today on a significant scale, the Karthikeya-2’s momentum in Telugu states may begin to slow down starting today. In contrast, “Karthikeya-2” has no rivals in Hindi; loved by the Bollywood audience, it is anticipated to perform well this weekend as well.
“Karthikeya-2” has made Rs 82 crore in Hindi and Telugu combined box office revenue in just 12 days. According to industry observers, the movie has a decent chance of earning more than 100 crores at the box office.
The producers of “Karthikeya-2” have scheduled a huge celebration event for August 26 at 5 PM in Kurnool City’s Exhibition Grounds to mark the film’s success. Leading figures from the Telugu film industry are anticipated to attend.
Karthikeya-2 is the follow up to 2014’s ‘Karthikeya’. The film stars Nikhil Siddharth and Anupama Parameshwaran in the lead roles. It is helmed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts and People Media Factory. Kaala Bhairava composed the music. The cinematography and editing were done by Karthik Ghattamaneni.
