Tollywood’s biggest father-son duo, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan’s Acharaya was released on the big screen yesterday. Fans in Telugu regions are ecstatic to see Megastar Chiranjeevi return to the big screen after an almost three-year absence. Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan co-starred in a full-length film for the first time. This film was directed by Kotala Siva. This film was able to generate a lot of buzz among Telugu filmlovers.
However, the film fell short of the audience’s expectations.The film received mixed reviews from industry analysts . For the release of this film, ticket prices were increased. On its first day, including the premieres, Acharya earned a total of 29 crores in gross revenue. Chiru’s previous film, Syra Narasimha Reddy, made 36 crores on its opening day, but Acharya fell short.
Siva’s direction and writing have been panned by megastar fans. Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi’s performances have received a lot of praise from the audience.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Acharya was repeatedly postponed, finally the film released on April 29, 2022. This Megastar’s flick was made on a budget of 130–140 crores.
