Yesteryear cricket star Sreesanth, who was one time embroiled in the match-fixing controversy is all set to make his Tamil movie debut alongside Nayanthara and Samantha. The movie goes by the name of Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal and it has the ex-cricketer play an important role in the film. Sreesanth is quite ecstatic at this new development and shared his excitement about it in a recent interview.
Considering the movie also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who has herself been mired in quite a few controversies surrounding her personal life, there is a lot of curiosity surrounding the movie, which can only be good news for the makers. Sreesanth in fact happens to be on a roll right now, as he is slated to appear in another Tamil project as well as a Hindi movie with Sunny Leone. That apart, he is also in talks for a Kannada movie.
Sreesanth continues to pursue his cricketing career alongside his movie one, having been the highest wicket-taker for Kerala. He hopes to participate in the upcoming Ranji Trophy season and looks at the IPL tournament with hope, what with two new teams on the anvil. He hasn’t given up hopes for making a comeback on the national side as well.
