With spectacular results in today’s ‘5 state elections,’ it is clear that the Aam Aadmi Party will play a significant role in national politicsArvind Kejriwal founded the AAP as an alternative to the BJP and Congress, and he became Delhi’s Chief Minister twice after winning state elections both times.. With its victory in Punjab and gains in Goa, the AAP can now be regarded as a national party. Given these results, it appears likely that AAP’s party will soon be expanded to all states across the country. Furthermore, with no party currently in a position to challenge the BJP, the AAP’s chances of becoming a viable alternative are high.

Punjab is the Aam Aadmi Party’s second state in power.  Kejriwal shocked the country’s political establishment when he ran for office in Delhi in 2015, winning 67 of 70 seats. The BJP, which had previously been present in the Delhi state, was taken aback. To everyone’s surprise, AAP won the Punjab state election and sent a clear message about its arrival on the national stage.
